ALL PROCEEDS WILL BENEFIT THESE LOCAL, NON-PROFIT CHILDRENS ORGANIZATIONS:
Molly Ann Tango
Memorial Foundation
The Molly Ann Tango Memorial Foundation is dedicated to enriching the lives of children with special needs and their families. The Foundation helps finance the purchase of much-needed medical equipment and services when insurance is exhausted and other social programs are not available. In addition to financial support, the Foundation helps families navigate the medical and social communities to find the products and services that will specifically meet their needs.
Covenant Preparatory School of Hartford
Covenant Preparatory School opened in 2008 in order to meet the educational needs of under-served families. The school partners with students, families, staff and volunteers to form a pact, or covenant, to fulfill the mission of the school. Parents are an active part of the school. Funding for the school comes from individual donors, foundations, corporate sponsorships and grants. Covenant Prep provides young men from underserved communities the foundation required to successfully pursue higher education, to develop the strength of their character and to inspire them to live with integrity as leaders committed to their communities
The Miracle League
of Connecticut
In 2012 a seed was planted in the special needs community when The Miracle League of CT opened the very first fully accessible baseball field in New England. 30 players including Johnny Moran, played baseball on that field the first year. The program now draws over 160 players each year from all over the state. What has blossomed beyond baseball has been incredible.

Today, Miracle League of CT programs include Everybody Dance Now, iCan Bike, We’re Putting on a Show, Super Sports Saturdays, MLCT Adapted Swim Lessons, Sibshops, and many others, all adapted to meet the unique needs of the children and families that they serve.

In 2022 The Miracle League of CT will celebrate 10 years of making a difference. By removing the barriers that prevent children with special needs from participating in activities we all take for granted for typically developing children, the Miracle League of CT advocates for their motto – “Every Child Deserves a Chance to Play.”
The Center for Children's Advocacy
The Center for Children’s Advocacy (CCA) provides legal advocacy for underserved Connecticut families to help them protect their children’s health and well-being. CCA’s Disability Rights Medical-Legal Partnership Project provides individual legal services to help low-income families of children with special needs ensure their children receive the services and supports they need. Project attorneys address a wide range of issues, including access to appropriate educational, health care and support services; rights to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations that remove barriers to participation in critical services and life-affirming enrichment activities; access to financial supports like SSI and SNAP; and substandard housing conditions and utility shutoffs.
CCA’s individual legal representation is supplemented by its training for child-serving programs about their responsibilities to provide ADA accommodations to children with special needs, by its legal rights and advocacy training that teaches health care providers to advocate for children, and by its advocacy for systemic changes to address systemic barriers identified by the families and children it serves. Since its founding in Hartford in 1997, with $2,000 and donated space, CCA has grown to an organization that serves children and families across Connecticut, whose legal services benefit more than 1,000
underserved children each year.
